Used daily by the work at home recipient. Very attractive; very practical.

A great kind of present for Mother's Day or Father's Day.Comes with charging platform (not clear in description) so don't order separate one.

I bought this for my husband and he raves about it. He charges it overnight and uses it first thing in the morning for his coffee. Keeps it warm for hours! Highly recommend.

The Ember is expensive but worth every penny. I now pour/pull my morning coffee (espresso, usually) right into the Ember mug, and it stays hot (maintains exactly 135 degrees F - the "default" temp, which I use - or whatever temp you set it at) for about 80 minutes while off the pad, and indefinitely if placed back on the heating/powering pad. When empty, it takes about 30 minutes on the pad to reach full power, but then can be left sitting on the counter (off the pad) and still retain 95% or …more power if empty (and thus not actively heating). The Ember knows when it's empty, and when its full, at least to the 1/3rd cup level, signals you when your beverage has reached it's set temperature. If you're tired or forgetting your coffee and having to reheat in the micro, over and over and over, this is the product for you.

The only thing that disappoints me is that is doesn’t stay hot as many hours, as it claims. I have left it on the base for several hours and it turns itself off at some point which I didn’t think it would do. I would love to have an option to keep it icy cold for cold espresso drinks!

I LOVE the ember mug! If you told me last year I would purchase an (almost) $150 mug, I would have told you, you were crazy. This mug is AMAZING though. As a mom, and a teacher, my coffee often gets forgotten in the hustle and bustle of life. I would normally find my coffee cold and dump it or microwave it (if I had that option, and honestly it's never as good). I love that this will keep my coffee at the perfect temperature so it's ready for me. My only complaint is occasionally I have to re-p…air it to my phone/app by turning it back to bluetooth mode. I would love for them to make a cup that can hold 20 ounces, we would probably by 2 more!

I love the mug, but it quit one year and five months after I received it as a gift. I take care of my things; hand washed it daily, put it right back on the charger, never dropped it, or abused it in any way. Now, I have a mug with a battery built into it, lithium, and don't know what to do with it. If you work it out, I got to use it for approximately $8 a month. Just think about it before buying one. I'm on the fence about buying another one, mainly because it's nice not throwing out hal…f empty cups of coffee every day. You decide. (The inside is not coffee. It is stained from 17 months of use!).
