Perfect size for my needs. Nice product.
I was skeptical at first as I had read some complaints that Edgestar systems didn't cool that well and that folks could not get the beer down to temps like 37-38. I have had no issue with that, and my unit sits in a rather warm garage. I actually thought that getting a unit that would hold a full keg was more wise but given they were about $150 more, and also didn't have digital temp control (or the cool blue lights) I decided to take a gamble and try this. I am so happy with this small kegerator.
Mom bought for my father for his birthday and we have a bar in our back yard and we use every weekend but the beer does come out foamy so turn down the pressure before!
No apps, alarms, flashing lights, or whistles. Its small, it looks good, and it works. I keep a corny keg and a 5# co2 tank in mine. It comes set up for a beer keg (D type keg coupler), but it is easy to adapt for a ball lock corny keg.
Should have read a little closer. CO2 tank comes empty but I should have expected that. Fortunately I have a friend that owns a brewery. Locating a CO2 refiller is a bit of a challenge.One other note, it came dented. Definitely could use better packing material. So far I can’t detect any internal damage. Enough complaining now :-). It was incredibly easy to install. It cooled down to 37 degrees rapidly and fits perfect in my kitchen. I think this is going to be one of my better investments
