I love this product. It is very simple and easy to use and makes fabulous, strongly bubbled seltzer with just a few quick presses of the button. The CO2 cartridge screws in easily, contrary to some scare stories I read about screw-in cartridges generally. The bottle with the fizz infuser cap slides easily into the tracks to position it for infusion. The bottles are sturdy plastic with a good cap for storing the finished seltzer in the frig. Be sure -- as they tell you in the instructions -- to …refrigerate the water in the bottle before you infuse it, because cold water holds onto the bubbles better than room temperature water. I tried fizzing cold white wine also, which came out well.

I returned a SodaStream because it didn't make enough bubbles to me. This machine add a lot of bubbles just like I'm drinking pop. LOVE IT!!!

My old machine (the more common brand) broke after years of use. I always liked it because it let me make soda at home. It wasn’t perfect, though. The bubbles were big and any bottles in the fridge went flat really quickly.I saw this on wirecutter and decided to try it instead. I’m really happy I did! The carbonation process has 2 extra steps, but that’s probably why it works so well. You hardly need to use any gas—the first few times I held the button down as long as I normally would and it wa…s serious overkill. A short burst or two makes it extremely bubbly. The bubbles are smaller and more evenly distributed, and a bottle stays carbonated in the fridge.It takes the pink Sodastream refill canisters, so that is handy.I’ve had it for around a month now. We’ll see how it holds up.

I was buying so many cases of canned, flavored water each week for the house and the office. Decided to make my own. Having fun with adding bit of fresh fruit juice, a bit of lemon, lime, cucumber, sprig of mint or rosemary. Even wine. Meets my goal of drinking more water. Just read to see if it comes with a CO2 cartridge. Mine didn't. They are interchangeable between brands. Got one from Target. They will give me a 50% off coupon when I swap an old cartridge for a new.The DrinkMate is a good …buy. Fun!

Great product. Tank exchange program is great and quick. You can fizz any cold liquid with no pulp, I have fizzed grape juice to cranberry and wine no problem and I also fizz water to use the dry singles packets for water ( I do that with dads rootbeer singles) and I even refizz sodas that have gone flat in the 2 liter bottles. Had the unit over a year with no problems at all. Recommend over soda stream.

This machine solves the glaring problem mixing syrup in your soda after it's been carbonated. With this machine you can carbonate the already mixed soda so you don't have to worry about it going flat mixing it post carbonation. Absolutely if you're buying a carbonater to drink more than just fizzy water this is the way to go.

I have been a Sodastream user since they first came to the states. I drink mostly carbonated water but every once in a while will have a flavored drink instead.I love the ability to carbonate iced tea and things like that, but my true love of this machine is how much more economical it is on CO2 compared to the Soda Stream. I use an adaptor and a separate tank. The amount of CO2 I would usually use in 1 month has lasted me since Christmas and just needed changed for the first time. It lasted 4X… as long as the old machine would have and it gives me the ability to do more than I could with the Sodastream for less money.

Love this. Got this brand to replace a prior home carbonator machine that broke. After using home carbonators for a few years this is what I love so much about this one - (1) doesn't need to be plugged in and doesn't run on batteries. You add the carbonation just by pushing down on the button. (2) you can carbonate a variety of liquids and are not limited to just water. (3) CO2 refills compatible with other brands so the refillable CO2 bottles that I had from my prior machine can still be us…ed on this.

I’m absolutely in love with this new toy. The bubbles are more delicate but tastier than anything in a can and I am thrilled that I can fizz up nearly anything. In the two weeks I’ve had it I’ve drank more water than I have in a long time and I’m also getting some extra vitamin C every day (I dilute OJ or other juices and it’s perfect). My favorite concoction is infused strawberry water with a splash of OJ. Can’t wait to try with mixed drinks.Only wish it came in better colors. Soda stream and …a few others have colors I prefer (I don’t want basic black, and the red and blue are just a little much in my kitchen, and I’ve read too many reviews about the white going yellow) but they don’t have what I really love, which is fizzing more than water. I had the Soda Stream previously and for me, being able to carbonate more than just water is huge. I’ll deal with my color pickiness if it means I get the taste I want.
