Not only do I love it, but the company handled an issue I had early on. The second time I used the container a small leak developed in the base. We wrote to the company and they sent a new base right away. They provide a nice selection woods and spices/flavors to infuse the bourbon. My favorite hands down is the dried orange peel. I also like the pecan wood. Be careful with the glass container. I’ve already broken one (my fault - I knocked it off the kitchen counter onto a tile floor).

I don’t drink. But my husband has a hobby of making fancy drinks and loves whiskey. He likes to play with flavors and trends. I got this for him for a birthday present. As a gift, this is super impressive. He was thrilled, like a little kid when he saw it. He liked the way this flavored the whiskey over time.He has tried it several times now. It’s easy to use without a lot to learn. He enjoys the different flavors of whiskey he has produced. This is a very nice looking set and has a lot of vari…ety. It is a fantastic gift for someone who enjoys whiskey and likes to produce their own concoctions.

Got this for my whiskey drinking son who immediately started infusing peach whiskey. It needed to sit longer than it said to have a stronger peach flavor but it definitely made the whiskey smoother. He’s hoping to try vodka next or tequila!

Got this product as a gift and my friend really enjoyed it. I was able to try it as well and the flavors the kit makes really adds a good taste to any whiskey.

Hard to review perfectly because it was purchased as a gift for a couple who enjoy mixed drinks especially with various whiskeys and bourbons. They enjoy sampling and will be taking a Kentucky bourbon trail tour soon. They seemed genuinely excited about experimenting with this kit. Seems like it was a great gift idea. I will update this review if I get real positive or negative feedback from the giftee's.

THE BEST!I love the idea of having the filter at the bottom. easy to remove and replace chips if needs.Change out the chips was a breeze.you can taste a difference on day 1, on day 3, total different drink. I would recommend this infuser to anyone that love to have different flavor cocktails drinks with a wood/smoky taste to it.I even smoked the whiskey that came from this infusion and it bliss. Bonus if verison#2 came with a smoke as well!

It’s a fun way to play with your alcohol and make it more of an experience. I got this as a gift for my partner and he thought it was great! The button can be tricky to get screwed in properly and was also tricky getting off. Other than the functionality of the container, it was fun and the whiskey was tasty!

After washing put the bottle i decided to give it a try, after filling the basket on the bottom i screwed it on as tight as i could, filled it up with rum, capped it, and gave it a shake. It didn’t take long after shaking it that i saw drips coming from the bottom of the bottle. My guess the gasket at the bottom doesn’t seal correctly.
