So Im halfway done with the brewing process and I’m pretty excited! Chardonnay is my favorite wine and while I was siphoning my brew from the primary carboy to a secondary one, I definitely recognized it as a chardonnay from just the smell. My box did arrive with a broken racking cane but Craft A Brew promptly replaced it. After the primary fermentation, I sanitized my siphon tubing and used the no rinse sanitizer to start the siphon, but I advise against doing this; use plain water if using th…e provided racking cane. Some of the sanitizer mixed with the wine while starting the siphon, but I’m hoping it has no ill effect on the wine. Will update in a couple weeks! But so far I am happy with this purchase. Came with everything I need.
