First time doing my own smoked cocktails. This setup is easy to use, no instructions on how much to use but I add a small amount to the mesh, use my torch lighter and place the top on once the wood catches fire. Cherry wood was overwhelming on an old fashion but oak was fine.

This set comes with everything you need and costs less than comparable cocktail smokers. The smoker is natural wood and not coated in an acrylic or any finish. That is better because I don't want any chemicals in my smoke from some slick acrylic finish. It also comes with several tins of wood chips. Oak, Apple Wood, Cherry Wood, Hickory, Pear Wood and Mahogany. An extra stainless cup, a spoon and cleaner brush. Everything you need to add smoke to your drinks. The torch is well made and easy to …use. You will need to buy a can of butane from Lowes, Home Depot or any hardware store. Instructions are included to show you how to fill the torch. I don't know anything about bourbon, but my husband loves it. I got this kit partially to impress him and partially to see if I could make the bourbon-tasting experience more pleasurable for myself. This kit accomplished both goals. My husband was thrilled, and I finally saw the light!If you don't "get" bourbon, get this kit. I know it sounds crazy, but it will improve your tasting experience. The smoke truly does bring out some delightful flavors.

Not very familiar with any of this, I gifted it to a friend and she absolute loved it. She said it is easy to clean and easy to use. They also come with different types of wood flavors which she said were very good.
