Well made stainless, lid has gasket and screws tight as does pouring spout cap. Insulation in bottom and top so it doesn't freeze hands when shaking or pouring. Best one so far.

I've been looking for a nice shaker to replace my old beat up one and this fits the bill and then some!It's nice and hefty and feels good in my hands. I like the thought that went into it's design. From the oz and ml measurements in the cup to the removable top and rubber gasket. Plus it comes with a jigger and mixer! The strainer could be smaller but considering all that this has I'll live with it.Made a Mojito and their version of a Long Island and both taste pretty good. Great addition to my… bar.

Before now I was just using a glass that fit inside a metal cup. This kit has everything you need, from a spoon to mix (if needed) to a double sided shot measuring cup. It even has a spare silicone seal. The upper part has a built in strainer. Just remove the small cap and pour out. It's double wall insulated like a thermos so if you mix up a cold drink and don't pour it out quickly the outside will not sweat. Also it's not cold on your hands. Being stainless steel it'll last a very long… time.

I don’t know why I waited so long to buy a double insulated shaker! No more frosty hands while shaking a martini or a top that blows off! Plus I love the oz measuring marks, so you don’t need even to use a shot glass (and risk spilling precious liquor in the transfer). The top screws on tightly, it’s dishwasher safe, and they also provide an extra rubber seal. Plus, it’s a larger size, so there’s plenty of room for the ice to move around and create nice sized ice chips. All in all, a great find!

This shaker is by far the best quality one compared to the other two I have. It's the only one that twists to close and has a rubber gasket that makes it completely leakproof! The other two shakers have lids that slip over the container, so drips down the side are likely to happen. Even the lid top screws on! This is priced higher than the other shakers, but it also comes as a set and the quality is SO much better. It's worth it and I highly recommend this set! 👍

This is really nice, and feels sturdier than I had anticipated.It has a gasket between the shaker top (which has embossed measurements in it), and came with an extra gasket. The top also has a gasket, and it twists on and holds well without leaking.The spoon is nice, and has a tamper/muddler on the end. The jigger is extremely basic with no measurements/markings at all.The recipe book is just okay... a few typos that don't affect the recipe, but you'd be better off looking up recipes online, or… buying an actual cocktail recipe book. I consider it a "freebee", so it doesn't influence the review one way or the other.Overall, it's a really good product, looks nice, and while it is a little pricey it's not outrageous. I would recommend it, and it's nice enough to give as a gift.

Not your normal cocktail shaker! The body has a double wall to keep the contents cool and keep your hands from getting cold. There's a seal for that cap that actually twists on, so no more accidents when the cap flies off. The spoon has a base that keeps you from having to lay it down on the counter. It's probably priced higher than what you'd expect to pay for a cocktail shaker, but its much better than it's competition.

The first time I used this cocktail shaker I knew my single-wall strainers were destined for the scrap heap or donation to the local charitable thrift store. It's an excellent shaker that makes measuring ingredients easy. The included measuring jigger and bar spoon add to its utility while the recipe book is fairly useless. Most of the recipes call for specific liquor brands and other ingredients that are largely unknown in the U.S. market. The Gimlet description is amusingly sexist in an i…nnocent sort of way.
