Coasters are bright and cheerful. Haven't had them long enough to rate absorbency. I would purchase again for gifts.

These coasters are in fact absorbent, I have not gotten any condensation on the table since using them. They are vibrantly colored. They have cute little sayings written on each one. There are 6 coasters. They are warm and inviting. They came with a metal holder. The holder holds them firmly into place, the coasters do not fall out if the holder is tipped over.
