Brand: HISTORY COMPANY

model number: TT48

Part Number: VI-AFGQ-SRSW

Details: How to Get Out of Those Wet Clothes and Into a Dry Martini. American actor and Notre Dame alumnus, Charles Butterworth was a master at playing diffident, absentminded middle-aged bachelors. An offscreen drinking buddy of such literary wits as Robert Benchley and Corey Ford, Butterworth became so famous for his dry quips and cynical asides that Hollywood screenwriters began writing only fragmentary scripts for him, hoping that the actor would "fill in the blanks" with his own bon mots. The most famous of his improvised lines is immortalized in 1937's "Every Day's a Holiday," as Butterworth suggests that Charles Winniger "get out of those wet clothes and into a Dry Martini." The bowl of this 1930s-era glass is supported with a Victorian column -- the perfect pedestal to showcase the iconic Martini or other mixed drinks. Offered is a Gift Box Set of 2 Retro-style Martini Glasses, inspired by Mr. Butterworth himself. Intended for keeping or giving.

I received the glasses quickly. One had an imperfection and I emailed for support with this. I was responded to very quickly and was sent two more glasses and was not required to send the other back. Great customer service and beautiful glassware!

This is the size for the original martinis and it feels it right to the brim if you make it according to the recipe it’s very classy they seem a little expensive but they are very pretty and they’re in a box it’s very giftable if you want some thing that’s nostalgic this really does the job

I like the fact that it is not too many ounces, so your drink stays cold and you dont drink too much.

These glasses came in well packaged and in one piece so that’s a win already. I use these for making manhattans and so far I’m enjoying them a lot.

Nice quality, sturdy martini glasses. Cool retro design and great size for martini portion control. I can have a whole martini without getting bombed!

In this world of fishbowl sized martinis it's nice to have a glass that won't put you under the table. They are beautiful and take you back to a time when the cocktail was an art and not just way to see how much alcohol you can pour into your body. They enrich the ritual and they are of a size that you can have two and still remember where you are. Thanks
