Made wine… worked awesome

I bought this item because I just started making my first batch of Mead-Honey Wine. The item came quickly and packaged for protection so nothing was broken. Everything advertised came with the item. It works as advertised. I was able to take my original specific gravity reading so when my mead has stopped the fermentation process I can take the final specific gravity ready and then calculate the alcohol by volume. This is a great hydrometer, but does not come with a graduated cylinder just a heads up for buyers

I recently bought a home that had 7 apple trees. We have been making apple cider and wanted to try making some hard ciders.This tool has been extremely important in determining the status of the fermentation process and calculating ABV.This is the first hydrometer I've ever owned so I have nothing to compare it to, but the readings seem pretty accurate and the tool itself seems to be of very high quality.

One piece container works well. the storage bag and cleaning brush are nice features. A high-quality and easy to use instrument. Only quibble is that the writing on the scale is too small/hard to read.

Dropped mine and it broke. Good thing I bought a 2-pack.

Arrived well packaged and shipped quickly. Should work fine for a long time.
