At the prices of these new Pro grade machines, maintenance is not something you can forget.Replacing the filters helps, but the tablets remove the scale that builds up on the heated surfaces.That scale can develop into an insulation that reduces the heating and can cause the machine to produce aNasty flavor. These tablets work great with both of my Breville machines keeping the boilers clean.

I've had my Breville Barista Express espresso machine for a couple of years now. I was looking for a cheaper alternative for filters and cleaning tabs, as the Breville brand can be pricey. I was excited to find this because it includes both, and plenty of both! I was also excited to read the reviews that they work just as great. After using them now for a few months, I can also say they work just the same as the Breville brand.
