Absolutely beautiful presentation, easy to read and understand and filled with so much information and facts about bourbon. If you are a Bourbon or Whiskey lover this is a MUST OWN. This book sits next to my Whiskey collection and it looks amazing, I recommend displaying it along with all your bottles.

This is one of the best books on the history of Bourbon and its phenomenal recovery. It presents a through history of Bourbon and is easy to follow and understand.

I didn’t buy this for it beautiful packaging but it has it. I bought a few as gifts and one for me. Clay writes great books, especially on Whiskey. This is no different. So many authors doing Whiskey books imply or tell you they are experts and know their stuff but Clay really does. He covers the topics and distilleries by giving you important details. The section on non-distilling producers for example tells you the real story behind the Van Winkle brand and many others. Very factual, accurate…, well written and researched. It’s not a rating or review of whisky’s like some of Risen’s prior efforts but this will make all types of whiskey beginners to snobs instantly much more knowledgeable. So happy I got this before it sells out.
