This is a no-nonsense shaker set for a good price. The set feels substantial—the stainless steel is thick and highly polished. There are no embellishments—just a workmanlike pair of stainless steel tumblers that nest together and form a tight seal.The resulting seal did not leak in my tests. In fact, if anything, the tightness of the seal may be troublesome for some with a weak grip. But I see this as a strength of this set. And the smaller of the two tumblers is quite a bit lighter, which does… aid in getting them apart.The straining device works fine.If you are looking for a shaker set made to last, you can’t go wrong here. It’s excellent.

It’s much heavier and sturdier than I anticipated. Very nice quality and would make a nice gift.

My husband was gifted a cobbler shaker and wanted to try a Boston shaker. I got this set for him as it came with the strainer that had a tight coil. He definitely likes the Boston shaker better overall.
