I put a 1/4 of the liquid contents in the freezer. When frozen, add the rest of the liquid and enjoy cold drink.

These tumblers are just what I was looking for. Nice size--neither too big or too small. Attractive enough for company meals but good for everyday too. May be buying another set.

These 12.5 ounce glasses look clear, are sturdy and have a nice "hold" feeling.They hold very close to their 12.5 ounces when filled to the brim; somehow, this strikes me as a "perfect" size glass.None were broken or chipped in shipping, despite the fact they were shipped with very thin packing material with almost no impact protection, and were purchased in "used-acceptable" condition.They stack up neatly with a slight clink.They will hold hot liquids (tea) but the glass at point of contact is… very hot, okay to hold above that.Made in Italy.I have not tested these for long term endurance, bang or drop, etc. but early indications are positive.... actually, excellent.UPDATE AT 6 MONTHS: Great, durable glasses. I like to put a bit of water in the bottom and put the glass in freezer, pull it out and pour-in quickly-chilled beverage. These are freezer tolerant.
