These jars are perfect for my starters I make. Just the right size and very large. I think I'm going to order more for storing pasta and such. Great purchase!

Closures are heavy duty and the hard are truly air-tight.

Love the jars but after I put pickled eggs into one I noticed the other one’s lid was broken. Can I get just a new lid?

I bought these jars to start the first fermentation process for fermenting hot peppers to make my home made hot sauce.These jars work flawlessly, no need to vent the jars everyday like you would have to in other containers.

I use these for salts and different spices that I use a lot, but buy in bulk. The cheaper jars that you find, usually in a 3 or 4 pack, have cheap closure mechanisms that don't seal completely. These seal and the glass is thick. I've purchased several different sizes and really like them.

I have more now than I can use but that won’t last. I have them in various sizes but I think this is the most useful one. I keep dry powdered items in these. Instant coffee, Cacafe powder and collagen powder in 3 of them. I had been storing fresh blueberries in one of them in the refrigerator but the moisture caused the wire to start rusting. Very hard to get replacement wire. I was however able the clean off the rust so that is good.

I've been making it a point to spend a little more on things not made in China. These did not disappoint. They really were only just a little bit more than the Chinese ones with a horror show of review pictures. The glass on these is not only suitably thick- it's uniformly thick. They seal well also. I bought a pair of large ones and a pair of the more medium sized ones (sorry, I don't remember the capacities off the top of my head). We use them to keep the beetles out of our whole wheat …flour and keep other things fresh and pest free. I liked them so much, I ordered two more of the same "medium" sized ones and then some smaller ones a few weeks later to keep dry yeast in the fridge. These really are nice swing top jars and a darned good value.

This product is awesome for making and keeping my Honey Bomb natural remedies sealed up nice and tight! Love these, and they come from Italy too! Italians know how to do food and food storage right!
