Was worried about the craftsmanship or wood itself from reading so many bad reviews with other cutting boards about warping and unleveling causing breaks. This one's a perfect size for my limited kitchen counter space, the maple is easy on my knives, and arrived smooth with no imperfections. Just clean with mild soap and water, oil, wipe with soft cloth and air dry. Directions on maintenance included.

Really impressed with this board..didn't expect it to be so sturdy..nice solid piece of maple, smooth, nice color..many other boards are now two piece..so if you drop them the ends may pop off..not this,..makes a great gift..but not this one..keeping it for moi.
