I bought this electric cooler thinking it would provide a backup to my "ice" cooler when on the road, but it has become my main cooler. First, it's better insulated than I though it would be, holding things cold for hours after the power is turned off. It's also much more power efficient than I thought it would be. At draws about 60 watts when the compressor first turns on but, after a few minutes, it stabilizes at around 34 watts for the rest of the compressor cycle. I power it with the 12…V plug in my Outback when on the road, then power it with a LiFePo4 12V (100Ah) battery when camping. To test it when I first got it, I set the temp at 38°F and ran it for 36 hours on the battery alone in Texas Gulf Coast heat (95 degrees), and there was still some battery reserve left. I leave plenty of room for it to vent around the compressor end, and and I always keep it in the shade during the daytime - common sense practice for any kind of cooler. After just two weeks, this cooler has worked out well for me.

I was so skeptical buying this last year for my husband but we have started travling more and the ice in the cooler just sucked! I started looking at these electric coolers and finally decided on this one. We've been using it now for close to a year, and it hasnt given any issues. I'm able to pack enough food cold or frozen for a whole extended weekend for the two of us. It fits 2 liter and lots of cans. It easily maintains 32°f even while staying in the hot car. It also has alot of setting for… temp and for voltage so you can reserve your battery in the most efficient way. It has changed the way we road trip now!

We have used this for several different occasions, both as a freezer and as a refrigerator.

Used during travel the past few days. Temp set at 45. Variations from about 42 to 47. Flawless on both 12 v and house current.

It’s ok but small on the inside it takes a wile to cold the items or wine, and it does not hold a lot of beverages. It was a gift to my brother an he say it was ok I will use it in his Bedroom for water storage.😔

Wish it had some Straps to carry it.It gets cold in a hurry.
