These really add a nice oak flavor to any bourbon. I put them in my less expensive bottles and you can really taste the oak after 4-6 weeks. Tastes like a whole different bottle!

This is the greatest thing since sliced bread! But can the grooves be cut in the opposite direction for easier unscrewing?

The toasting was pretty much solid. I did char part of one to add to my blended whiskey to increase it's flavor. I am re-aging some cheap, store bought whiskey and looking forward to tasting the final product!

Adding these to a bottle definately changes the flavor profile and color. The longer you let it sit the more noticeable it is. I love to find a cheap bottle, split it, put one of these in and compare to the original in 3 weeks or so. I gave it a 4 star on use because I found that they won't fit into some bottles. The spiral is larger diameter than the bottle opening on some.

Turned a $30 bottle of bourbon into one that tasted like a $100 a bottle! Please don’t believe me… more for me at this great price!

Maybe I'm a moron, but I assumed these would fit in a standard 750ml mouth. They do not.

Definitely worth the money and the wait. Transformed a cheap bottle of bourbon into a higher end one. Adding great flavor and removing the harshness of the bottom shelf bourbon. I tested one at 4 weeks and another at 6 even after only 4 it was significantly better but would definitely say that the 6 week batch was superior

Good for infusing "toasted oak" character to a wine or spirit. I really like these sticks to easily split into thirds for gallon jugs. A clear spirit will take color in under a week and full oak flavor in 6 to 8 but I leave mine in for longer. I reuse them a couple times also (soak in grain alcohol if used in wine or in a small amount of same spirit to sanitize before introducing to a larger spirit container)

I use for demis, carboys and old barrels. I tie them off with fishing line and drop them in. Just pull them out when done. No clean up required and imparts good oak flavor.

These things definitely work. Adds flavor and color to neutral spirits. Have bought 3 and will continue to buy more.
