Alchemy Gothic La Fee Verte Absinthe Spoon

I wanted to find the perfect Absinthe Spoon for my personal Absinthe set up and I'm really pleased with this purchase. This is a very good cast and has lovely lines and detail. Highly Recommend.

I purchased this spoon and the tumbler for my wife's most recent birthday along with a couple of bottles of absinthe from overseas. It was a big hit and she LOVED both the spoon and the tumbler. In actual practice the spaces between slots in the spoon are far enough apart that you're likely to drop chunks of sugar during your pour. As an art piece this get a 5/5. As an absinthe spoon it still gets a 3/5 because it's just that lovely, but you may want to get a more traditional spoon as a backup.

Coming from an absinthe connoisseur, this is a must have collectible piece. Although I love the looks and the quality of the spoon, I must say the holes are a little too "open," allowing the sugar cube to melt too quickly into a glass. Personally you'd be better off using a traditional absinthe spoon but regardless, it makes an elegant collector's piece.
