The Absinthe accessories set "Heure Verte" has all the accessories you need to drink Absinthe in a group of four. It includes one beautiful Absinthe fountain, four Pontarlier Absinthe glasses, four Absinthe spoons and one bag wrapped Absinthe sugar cubes. The Absinthe fountain is made out of glass, has four silver colored taps, a removable glass lid and an outstanding design. With this set up you are a real Absintheur as drinking Absinthe with a fountain is "the real thing". This set is as well perfect as a gift, because you can already use it at the party!

The traditional Fountain Absinthe ritual:

You fill the Absinthe fountain with ice cubes and water. Then Absinthe is put into the Absinthe glass (2 to 4cl, about a tenth pint). Then an Absinthe spoon is placed on the glass and one or two sugar cubes are placed on the spoon. Then you open the spigots of the fountain and ice-cold water drips on the sugar on the spoon. Slowly the drops dissolve the sugar cube completely. The green Absinthe blends with the water and begins to louche into white sage. The perfect Absinthe water ratio is 1:3. Finally stir the Absinthe with the spoon and voilá, your Absinthe is prepared!

    I bought this as a birthday present and they were absolutely thrilled. We use it all the time and the set is a beautiful piece to see when not in use. The sugar cubes are great too!

    Glass is not very thick. Also could have done well with something around the base to stop it from being slippery. Both are fine and I can take care of the latter. No serious complaints whatsoever.

    Not heavy very light weight, is fragile, knocking it over would end its whole life. Also dainty, it is NOT a large fountain, this is a work of art, that is functional , and not for rowdy nights. Fully functional, works as it should. really lovely.

    I bought this for my husband for Christmas, and it came exactly as advertised. The fountain itself is elegant and delicate yet well-made. You wouldn't want to knock it off a table, though, because the glass isn't super thick. Everything was packed extremely well, so no worries about the shipping. The spoons and glasses are also well made, and I may order a few more of each.I'm glad I ordered the four-spout instead of a two, because to get a proper louche, a slow drip is best, which takes a whil…

    I love my fountain set!!! Had some issues with the shipment, was suppose to get in a month, but it ended up taking about 3 months for me to receive d/t usps kept sending to wrong places and losing it( not suppliers fault). I just knew that it would be broken when I recieved it, BUT IT WASN'T (was wrapped very well)!! Made it in one piece and it was beautiful 😍. I have had so many compliments on it. Would very much recommend 👌
