Received my absinthe spoon quickly & packaged well. I find it very attractive and being made of stainless steel, I feel it is much better than plated antiqued silver. It fits over the glass just right with a slight tilt so any excess water runs into the glass as it should. I’m very pleased with it.

I went to the South of France and became a fan of absinthe.I decided to try it at home. Never mind the fact the import issues of "real" absinthe.I have been trying to master the pouring of absinthe via the sugar cube and had a few instances where a standard spoon flipped while pouring.I decided to try this spoon and found the flipping problem is now gone. Only have to master the pouring effort!Time will tell.
