I got this for my roommate as a birthday gift because she is an expert mixologist, and had never tried absinthe. We had so much fun partaking in an absinthe ritual, and it turned what could’ve just been a night of doing shots for her 21st, into an experience. I am really pleased by the craftsmanship on the globe. It is delicate as other reviewers stated, but it’s gorgeous. I have dropped ice cubes into it and had no issues with cracking. My only feedback is that the droppers could fit more snug…, as they slip out often. Further, and this is just me I’m sure, but for any reviewers thinking the cups are green: they are not. If you want the green cup, you gotta buy the absinthe that is green in color. Sadly, that is usually accompanied by a whole lot of dye, and I don’t find myself drinking green absinthe. TSU: I’m really happy with this fountain and it’s on display in our dining room.

Glass is thin but it's a very nice unit. I use it almost daily and it's all I needed.

What a fun throwback to the olden days. This dripper works great and is quite a show. Leaked a little on the removable spouts, but I’d rather be able to remove them for cleaning than have them permanently attached and never have a chance to leak.

Very awesome absinthe fountain. Good price for quality. Elegant fountain, sturdy glasses. Spout is plastic and bit tricky to install but works good. No complaints from the Green Fairy.

Glassware is very light weight. Please note that the Spicket’s are made of plastic. It’s a nice little package for someone hosting and absinthe party. Very delicate glass so if handled carefully should last

One of my spouts would not fit on the glass, the seller was very quick to respond to my contact and shipped a new one after making sure the size was the correct one.A really good gift idea, the product come really well packaged and protected for transport and looks really nice!

I agree with other reviews that this piece is rather fragile and could use some beefing-up on the size/strength of glass — a little too much pressure when installing the spigots could crack the glass. HOWEVER, I kinda like the delicate glass and it adds some sense of refinement to the piece and the mystery of this legendary concoction. The item arrived in perfect shape in great packaging that will keep the item safe for years to come. It does require some careful assembly but everything make…s sense. So kudos to the makers for all that. I purchased this for a Christmas gathering for family returning home as a fun event — a bit of wizardry preparing this notorious drink. In the end, almost all of us decided we didn’t like absinthe! Entirely our fault. The item worked perfectly and as advertised.
