When I toured distilleries in Scotland and Ireland, it got to the point where I didn't want to hear in detail the entire process of making the whisky, I just wanted to taste it. This book is perfect for me since it gives concise information without too much detail. Had the tour guides in Scotland and Ireland used this book, I could have spent 15 minutes learning about the process and 2 hours tasting, which would have been perfect. If you are a whisky connoisseur, this book may be to basic for
