We did have to add a few blocks inside to make this work better

Used it for pressing 60 pounds of grapes. Suggest buying round wood and add center hole and place on top of their 2 piece wood. And the mesh bag works.

I have several apple trees and only need so much applesauce and pie filling, decided to make cider. As with other reviews, you need to make a larger press plate and extra blocks. Other than that it was easy to assemble and worked great. If you don’t have your own trees or can get free apples. Making cider from store bought apples makes for $12/gallon cider.

Easy to use and clean. Well-made and sturdy. Efficient design. Would definitely recommend.

Building it was a chore, but used some giant jenga blocks to be able to press more, and it worked! Screw down the feet to add stability.

We just jammed out 12 cases of grapes through one of these bad boys, and it was incredibly easy. Assembly was quick. I did it it 15 minutes - (truth be told, I had an electric screwdriver).I could have used more blocks for more pressure. I had to use 2x4s.

I just used it for the first time. I put it together myself with a plain screwdriver. It seems sturdy enough. I am not pressing a lot of fruit. I just wanted to see how it compares to a regular juicer. I got a good press with it. As for the blocks, I have kids, so they had some wooden blocks that worked. They aren't touching the fruit, so it should be okay. I will have to see how long it holds up.

A friend helped me put this together , I’d say an hour. Another girlfriend helped with pressing and how I’d have students help making juice.She loved it and students think it’s really cool.Really easy to clean and I let it air dry.
