    I was very spectacle about this because I read the reviews. These were very good and sturdy. As some may say it was not I would assume because they didn't open them wide enough to even out the balance. It was easy to open. Those that are saying it wasn't maybe didn't watch the how-to video or read the instructions. You lift it up then pull for an easier way to open it. It was great. I used it when I was hosting a party to make mixed drinks and this helped with the rimming process.

    Got these for hubby due to his love of margaritas. Sturdy and wide enough to fit large rimmed glasses. We put liquid in a separate container and don't use the included sponge.
