As I needed a small (one cup) shaker for my protean drink I saw this and it fitted the bill exactly. Highly recommended.

Works great and is the advertised size. Doesn't feel like cheap plastic, and feels like the plastic shakers they use at boba shops.

tl;dr: yes, good, worth it.long answer:i use this to make shaken coffee and ice drinks, mostly. if you like the shaken espresso drinks at the coffee fast food place, this is a good investment. you can get decent results at home, if you start with strong coffee. you could use a moka pot or even instant coffee..it's also great for mixing cold chocolate milk with ice to a foamy consistency for a smoother mouthfeel (and colder!) than regular chocolate milk..weaknesses: the lids can get stuck on the…re tight. i like to occasionally lubricate the joining surfaces with food-safe mineral oil, so they come apart and go together a tiny bit easier. taking off the top mini lid off the strainer when attaching or detaching the big lid is also helpful, i find..it's easy to clean- some warm water and dish soap, a rinse, and into the draining rack. ymmv if you use creamier or thicker mixins though. i wouldn't trust this in a dishwasher, mostly because the plastic would age fast and possibly get rough surfaces, harder to keep clean in future. besides it's so easy to hand wash that i couldn't be bothered putting it in a machine..overall i like this shaker a lot. it feels like the same durable plastic as the ones at fast food coffee place, although the capacity is smaller- 16 to 20 oz, somewhere between a medium and a large. definitely not big enough for a "trenta" (30 oz.) but you could always do it half at a time for that much..the gradiation on the side is its one advantage over a metal shaker. metal might be more durable, but it's harder to measure liquids, and being able to see the stuff inside gives you a better idea how shaken it is so far.
