Not saying it will work for you but I've dropped a few onto concrete slab flooring and haven't had to pick up broken glass yet. Put those to the side as potential hazards but the not having to clean up broken glass cannot be over stressed. Also the cork was of good quality and well trimmed. I should break one just to see how they break before I praise them too much but they have also survived torching and a number of other abuses at this point so well done.
