You know you’re old when you get excited over drinking glasses! These are the perfect size and thickness, and they are sturdy enough that I don’t think they will break easily. I had similar ones that I bought from IKEA, but most of them broke with no explanation (one of them spontaneously shattered in the sink), so I was happy to find these.

I bought these a couple months ago for our office; they get used for all kinds of beverages from water to beer. They are holding up well - we use a dishwasher, and employees aren't necessary all that careful with the glasses but so far these are proving to be sturdy. They also frost up nicely if chilled in the freezer.
