The White Russian cocktail was invented in 1949 by a Belgian barman named Gustave Tops. He created this drink and its twin, the Black Russian, a White Russian without the cream. It soon became popular all over the west because many people enjoy drinking this cocktail, especially during the winter!

2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Kahlua or other coffee liqueur
1 oz. Heavy cream
Prepare a lowball glass with ice and combine the vodka and Kahlua.
Top with the cream and stir until cold.
