The name "spritzer" comes from the German verb "spritzen," which means to splash or squirt. By consuming this drink, people can moderate their alcohol consumption without worrying about calories.

1 pc. Lemon, sliced into rounds

1 cup Sliced strawberries

12 oz. Vodka

3 oz. Simple syrup
- Ice

Fresh mint leaves
Directions
Place the lemons and strawberries in a pitcher along with the vodka, simple syrup, and unsweetened cranberry juice.
- Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes or longer if desired.
- Prepare a glass and pour the vodka mix.
Top off with soda water.
Garnish with fruits and mint leaves.
Recipe Note
If you’re using sweetened cranberry juice, cut the amount of simple syrup into half.
