If you're looking for something more sophisticated than just whiskey or brandy, try the Saratoga. This cocktail is made with both spirits plus vermouth—it has hints of sweetness that make this drink similar to Manhattans.
Ingredients
1 oz. Brandy
1 oz. Whiskey
1 oz. Sweet vermouth
2 dashes Bitters
- Lemon twist for garnish
Directions
In a mixing glass with ice, combine all ingredients. Stir well.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Twist a lemon or orange peel on top of the drink.
