Rumchata is having a moment, and people can't get enough. The Rumchata cupcakes, eggnog or even those delicious shots are very popular nowadays. And just like the many variations that have been made with Rumchata, this hot cocoa is another masterpiece creation. Alongside the warmth, flavors of chocolate, caramel, and milk will definitely sing in your taste buds!
Advanced Mixology

Ingredients

2½ cups Whole milk

¼ cup Granulated sugar

2 tbsp. Cocoa powder

1 tsp. Pure vanilla extract

6 oz. Chocolate chips

½ cup Rumchata
-
⅓ cup Warm caramel

Whipped cream, cinnamon sugar, and cinnamon stick for garnish
Directions
In a saucepan, bring milk to a simmer. Add in sugar and cocoa powder while mixing well until no lumps are seen.
Add in the vanilla and chocolate chips until the chocolates are melted. Stir in the Rumchata, then turn off the heat.
In a small plate, pour the caramel and run each glass’ lid until covered.
Pour the mixture into the glass and top with whipped cream.

RumChata is a Wisconsin-made cream liqueur that includes rum, dairy cream with cinnamon and vanilla as well as sugar.
