Pecan Pie Shake
What could be better than a Pecan Pie Shake for Thanksgiving? This shake is best when served with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg. It's best to make this well in advance so the flavors can blend together. If you want, you can also add some cinnamon or ground ginger to taste.
3 scoops of Vanilla ice cream
½ cups Milk
2 oz. Bourbon
½ cup Chopped pecan pie
In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, milk, bourbon, and chopped pecan pie.
Blend until desired consistency. (Add more ice cream if the mixture is too thin, and more milk if it’s too thick.)
Pour into glass and garnish with crumbled pecan pie.
Pecan pie's filling is sweet and gooey, with an almost caramel-like flavor. The nuts provide a great contrast to all that sugar as well as being nutty enough for those who enjoy them!
