Paloma's are a classic Mexican drink consisting of tequila, grapefruit, and lime juice. But why stop there? Mezcal fans can also enjoy this refreshing cocktail with mezcal instead!

It features fresh citrus together with some other mixers like bubbly club soda for that perfect summer cookout atmosphere.

Ingredients

¼ cup Kosher salt
1 tsp. Chili powder
1 pc. Lime, zested and sliced
2 oz. Mezcal
2 oz. Grapefruit juice
1 oz. Honey simple syrup
Club soda

Directions

In a plate, combine the kosher salt and chili powder.
Rub the lime over the glasses and dip the rim over the salt mixture.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour all the remaining ingredients. Shake well.
Pour into the prepared glass.

Recipe Note

Just combine equal parts of water and honey in a pan for the honey simple syrup. Let it boil and cool completely before using.
