If you’re looking for a unique twist on your traditional old-fashioned, look no further than this Mexican version. You don't have to choose between tequila and Mezcal because it comes with both!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz. Reposado tequila
- 1 oz. Mezcal
- 1 tsp. Agave syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitter or mole bitters
- 1 Orange peel
Directions
- Combine tequila, mezcal, agave, and bitters in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well until well-combined and chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass with one large ice cube or three standard ice cubes.
- Flame orange peel with a lit match by running it along the orange side and edges. Drop orange peel in glass and serve.
