Lotus Blossom Martini
This delicious and easy-to-make Lotus Blossom Martini features unique ingredients such as pear vodka, Japanese sake, lychees, pear slices, and lime wedges, creating a unique combination that is not only exotic but also amazingly delicious.
1½ oz. Pear vodka
1 oz. Sake
½ oz. Simple syrup
3 pcs. Lychees
1 pc. Lime wedge
Pear slice for garnish
Line the bottom of your cocktail shaker with the lychees, simple syrup, and your lime wedge. Shake gently to incorporate all flavors.
Add the vodka and sake, then fill with ice. Shake vigorously until the outside of the cocktail shaker is frosted with ice.
Strain the contents into your cocktail glass.
You can garnish it with a sliced pear to add more sophistication and taste.
The problem with using a sliced pear as a garnish is that it will turn yellow as time goes on because of oxidation. One way to stop this from happening is to dip your sliced pear in lemon juice before using it as garnish.
