The Jack Rose is a wonderfully complex and flavorful cocktail with a unique combination of sweetness, acidity, and tartness that makes it very refreshing. It is also very easy to make, a great way to show off your bartending skills to your friends and family.
Ingredients
.75 oz. Grenadine
.75 oz Lemon juice
1 dash of Peychaud's bitters
- Ice
- Lemon Twist
Directions
Pour the applejack, grenadine, bitters, and lemon juice into a shaker.
- Add ice and shake the mixture vigorously for 15 seconds or until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a glass and squeeze the lemon twist onto the cocktail’s surface.
- Rim the glass with the lemon twist before serving.
