Whether you're celebrating St. Patrick's Day or just feeling like getting a little bit Irish, this margarita recipe is perfect for you. It has all the flavors of Ireland in one drink, with a sweet and sour taste that will leave you wanting more. So grab your favorite glass and rim it with gold sugar to get in the spirit! Cheers!
Ingredients
4 oz. Reposado tequila
2 oz. Blue Curacao
2 oz. Peach schnapps
1 oz. Irish whiskey
1 oz. Aperol
1 oz. Lime juice
8-12 oz. Pineapple juice depends on personal taste
2 rounds of Lime for garnish
Gold sugar crystals for rimming
Corn syrup for rimming
1 cup shaved ice
Directions
Spread corn syrup on the rims of margarita glasses.
Pour the gold sugar crystals out on a plate.
Run the rims of the glasses through the sugar crystals to coat.
Add a rounded scoop of ice to each of the glasses.
Add all the remaining ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
Shake well until combined and chilled.
Pour into the glasses.
Garnish with a round of lime.
