1 oz. (2 tbsp) Absinthe
1 tsp Simple syrup
4 oz. (½ cup) Chilled Champagne or Prosecco

Directions

This cocktail was invented by the writer Ernest Hemingway in 1935 who named it after his book Death In The Afternoon which came out that same year.
