Directions

1. Combine the cantaloupe, sugar, and lemon juice in a blender or food processor.

2. Blend to a smooth consistency for about 30 seconds.

3. Pour the mixture into an airtight container by filtering it using a cheesecloth or a fine-mesh strainer.

4. Store in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use it.

5. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the rum, cantaloupe puree, simple syrup, and cherry juice.

6. Shake for 30 seconds, then pour the mixture into your favorite glass.

7. Add a splash of lime juice and your chosen hard seltzer.

8. Garnish with a skewered lime wedge and melon balls.
