Cocktail Recipe
Brandy Alexander is a classic cocktail that has been around since at least the '70s. It's most often served as an after-dinner drink, and it pairs well with desserts or other rich dishes. It contains brandy, creme de cacao, and cream.
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz. Cognac
1 oz. Dark creme de cacao
1 oz. Cream
Garnish: grated nutmeg
Directions
Combine brandy, creme de cacao, and cream in a shaker with ice.
Shake well for 15 seconds and strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with grated nutmeg or dust of cocoa powder if desired.
