Ingredients
3 oz. Boiling water (plus more boiling water to heat mugs)
Preheat your glass mugs. To do this, add some boiling water to your glass and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, throw the water out before adding your cocktail.
Be sure to clear the table of all flammable materials before starting.
Combine the scotch, sugar, and boiling water into one of your mugs. Ignite it with a match.
Pour the flaming cocktail into the other mug. Repeat this process 5 more times.
Divide the cocktail into your 2 mugs.
Extinguish the flames. To do this, you can cover each mug with the other until the fire dies out.
You can garnish it with a lemon twist.
Recipe Note
Be careful not to burn your house down with this flaming drink! Use a damp rag or towel to soak up potential alcohol spills on the table. This is important because these spills can ignite and start a fire. To add extra protection, you can also keep a fire extinguisher nearby.
