Black Barrel Sazerac is best served as a refreshing cocktail for the fall season. This recipe pairs well with many traditional appetizers and entrees. The best part about this cocktail is that it only requires a few ingredients to make!

Absinthe, to rinse
Dash of Agave nectar
Dash of White creme de cacao
½ tsp. Cold water
3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1¼ oz. Rum
1¼ oz. Cognac
Lemon peel for garnish
Rinse a chilled old-fashioned glass with absinthe and set aside.
In a mixing tin, add the dash of agave nectar along with white creme de cacao. Add in Peychaud’s bitters along with angostura bitters.
Add the rest of the ingredients with ice and stir well.
