There are few cocktails as refreshing and delicious as the Bahama Mama. This cocktail is made with white rum, dark rum, coconut rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, and grenadine. It is a perfect drink to enjoy during hot summer days!

Ingredients

1 oz. White rum

1/2 oz. Dark rum

1 oz. Coconut rum

2 oz. Pineapple juice

2 oz. Orange juice

Splash of Grenadine
Directions
In a highball or hurricane glass, mix all ingredients over ice.
Add a splash of grenadine and garnish with cherry or lime wedges.

The Bahama Mama cocktail is rumored to be named after Dottie Lee Anderson, a dancer and performer who also goes by the name of "Bahama Mama.”
However, some theories suggest that the term comes from an area of the Caribbean Islands known as the “The Bahamas.”
