Hot Buttered Rum Ingredients:
For the batter:- 1 cup Butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 cup Vanilla ice cream
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp Ground clove
- 1 tsp Ground nutmeg
- 1 scoop Batter
- 2 oz Aged rum
- 4 oz Hot water
- Cinnamon stick
Hot Buttered Rum Preparation:
- To prepare the buttered rum batter, put all ingredients into a bowl and mix them together. Electric mixer is the best equipment to use in doing so.
- Pour the butter mixture into a plastic container and freeze for at least one hour.
- Prepare the boiling water while waiting and remove from heat.
- Now, grab your mugs. Put one scoop of the rum batter in every mug.
- Add aged rum and boiling water.
- Finally, garnish with a cinnamon stick. Whipped cream may also be used.
