FOMO (fear of missing out) is a real thing, especially for workers. David Baldwin @davidbaldwin knows this feeling all too well. So when he found himself in the middle of too many meetings one day, he decided to make a margarita—a Blackberry Lime Saffron Margarita .
This unique cocktail is made with mezcal, dry curacao, light agave, fresh lime juice, saffron salt, and blackberries. Who wouldn't want to drink one of these?
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Tequila @tequilamicampo
- 0.5 oz. Mezcal @rosaluna
- 0.5 oz. Dry Curacao
- 0.5 oz. Light agave
- 0.5 oz. Fresh lime juice
- Saffron salt for rim
- 5-6 pcs. Fresh blackberries
Directions
- Rim a coupe glass with salt.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients with ice.
- Shake well until combined and chilled.
- Strain into the rimmed glass.
2. Slow Gin Fizz
In the midst of the seemingly never-ending rain, Ben @balconybartender has whipped up a delicious Slow Gin Fizz cocktail to help beat the summer heat. This unique drink is made with sloe gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and egg white. It's easy to make and perfect for any summer party! So grab your ingredients and give this recipe a try!
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Sloe Gin @thecanberradistillery
- 0.8 oz. Lemon juice
- 0.5 oz. Sugar syrup
- Egg white
- Soda water top
- Ice
Directions
- Dry shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice.
- Wet shake the mixture.
- Top off with the soda water .

- 1.35 oz. Tanqueray No.10
- 0.5 oz. Blue curacao @butlerscocktailliqueur

- 0.34 oz. Vanilla and Aniseed syrup
- 0.67 oz. Citrus
- Top up with soda @fitchleedesmixers
Directions
- In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine all ingredients.
- Shake well until combined and chilled.
- Strain into a tall glass.
- Garnish with an orange wedge.
4. Planter’s Tonic
Cara and Andrew's @thefernandine Planter Tonic is a revitalizing cocktail made to celebrate Holi, the festival of colors in India. The drink tastes like early summer or springtime with its hints of mint and pineapple freshness, making it rather enjoyable for those who prefer not to be too heavy on alcohol at this time!
Ingredients
- 2 oz. White rum [Bacardi]
- 0.33 oz. Orange mint syrup [SWA Artisanal Syrups]
- 2 oz. Pineapple juice
- 6 oz. Tonic water [Jade Forest]
- 0.33 oz. Blue curacao liqueur
- Ice
Directions
- In a glass , pour in the white rum, the orange-mint syrup, and the pineapple juice. Stir.
- Top up with tonic water, add ice, and give it another stir.
- Slide in the blue curacao liqueur.
5. Paloma
Risa's @risajamesphotography take on the classic Paloma came about when her friend Liz was visiting. And she had bronchitis at that time, so she wanted to create something easy and straightforward but still delicious.
This gorgeous pale pink fruity concoction is made with blue nectar tequila, grapefruit juice, agave syrup, and club soda. With a light sweetness from the agave syrup, refreshing bubbles from club soda, and tartness from grapefruit juice, this drink is perfect for those who are looking for a cocktail with less alcohol content.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Blue nectar tequila
- 2 oz. Twisted Alchemy grapefruit juice
- ½ oz. Twisted Alchemy lime juice
- ¼ oz. Agave syrup
- 2 oz. Regatta Craft club soda
- Lime wedge for garnish
- Sea salt for rimming
Directions
- Use a lime wedge to wet the rim of a rocks glass and dip it in sea salt.
- Shake all ingredients except club soda with ice.
- Strain into prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Top with soda water.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.

- 2 oz. Silver tequila
- 0.5 oz. Cointreau
- 1 oz. Creme de Banane
- 1 oz. Homemade dragon fruit lychee vanilla syrup
- 2 oz. Pineapple juice
- 1 oz. Freshly squeezed blood orange juice
- 0.75 oz. Freshly squeezed lime juice

- Shake all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Fine strain into a hurricane glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a fabulous straw, a banana dolphin, a starfruit slice, and Zombie Mouse.
7. On Christmas Island
On Christmas Island by Allison @classicdrinks_moderngirl is a Christmas-inspired cocktail featuring a lot of tropical flavors. While mixing up a summer-tasting drink on a December holiday is unusual, Allison wanted to shy away from the usual hot toddy and nogs and try something fresh.
The concoction will make you think about eating a gingersnap cookie while sitting on a beach during the most wonderful time of the year.

- A small chunk of Fresh ginger
- Lemon wedge, peeled
- 1.5 tsp. Brown sugar
- Chunk of banana
- 1 oz. Spiced rum
- 0.5 oz. Cinnamon whiskey
- 1 oz. Dark rum
- 2 oz. Pineapple juice

- Add the first four ingredients to a cocktail shaker and muddle them thoroughly.
- Add the remaining ingredients and ice.
- Shake until well mixed and chilled.

While the eye-catchy drink looks inviting, don’t be fooled just yet. The addition of white rum in the mixture enhances the flavors and gives a nice kick. Plus, St. Patrick’s Day or not, this cocktail can be served any time of the year!
