Moscow Mule Party Featured

As history has clearly demonstrated, the best get-togethers are based on a theme (Mardi Gras, new year’s eve, ugly sweater parties). So don’t try to reinvent the wheel, instead cut a lime into a wheel and pop it on top of a delicious Moscow Mule. This themed party is not only tasty and refreshing, it’s interactive, too. Think words like smorgasbord, potluck, buffet, and Build-A-Bear.

Mule Party

Step 1 - Mugshot

Why even think of making a Moscow Mule without a quality copper mug to keep the drink frosty and you looking pretty cool, too? Frankly they’re half the fun of throwing a mule party. We recommend our 100% copper mule mugs four pack to get you started.

Step 2 - All For One, One For All

Rally the troops, this gathering calls for some audience participation. Create an ingredients list in an email (we’ll give you lots of ideas) and have everyone bring one or two things.  The key is variety. You want a few different spirits like vodka and bourbon or even mezcal, guests can bring what they like.  Also a few different types of ginger beer and a variety of fruit and herbs.  You can get ingredients to match the recipes below or mix and match to concoct your own original recipe.

Step 3 - Mixmaster Flash

As your best mates and their ingredients arrive, throw those fixings into some bowls and create a do-it-yourself drink station with a couple recipe cards so your guests feel like instant Moscow Mule making pros. You can set it up on your kitchen island or on a table out by your BBQ. Once a good number arrive, gather everyone around and give a quick demonstration on the basic Moscow Mule recipe and how they can get creative with some fun fruits and garnishes. Put the Modern Mule recipe in a frame on the table so guests can reference it as needed.

Before the day of the party, earn yourself some street cred by watching our Moscow Mule recipe videos to get the hang of it (don’t worry it’s super easy and you get to drink the practice drinks, too) and check out the recipes below.
